If you create an account
You can create an account with your name and email, or sign in with Google. We store your name and email address on your account. There’s no password: each time you sign in with email, we send you a one-time code. Sign-in is handled by our authentication provider, Supabase. If you use Google to sign in, you share the basic account details Google sends us, such as your name and email address.
Saved on your device
Your favorites and recently viewed products are saved in your own browser, using local storage. They stay on your device, and clearing your browser data removes them.
Links to stores
When you click a link to a store, you leave scout and that store’s own privacy policy applies. Some links may be affiliate links, which means scout may earn a commission if you buy. See how scout works.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time. Click your name at the top of any page, then choose “Delete account”. This permanently removes your account and your saved chats.
